Statue of the twin spirits, Inun & Yeb.
Yeb and Inun are the twin spirits worshipped by the Absolutionists. Their statues can be found in many spirit halls across the West.
Yeb is the spirit of harvest, change, death, and the ebb tide.[1] According to the Absolutionists, when someone's life ends, servants of Yeb would come to harvest their soul.[1]
Inun is the spirit of peace and plenty that guides people into life. Peace, however, can lead to stagnation which eventually bring down Inun's wraith.[2]
Trivia[]
- The Narrator has certain comments if the Protagonist interacts with the statues of Yeb and Inun. The comments are also different for Across Rivers and Constance Driftwood, who don't believe in Absolutionism:
- "They say they respect balance, but it doesn't seem that way in how they treat your Nation." (Across Rivers)
- "A sense of foreboding. You're not welcome here." (Constance)
- "The Absolutionists will ever be enemies to the Oneirists." (Constance)
- "A sense of being watched. The spirits wonder what you'll do." (Constance)
