Change is a frightening thing. It can mean bane or boon, fresh life or dire ruin. The arbiter of these is Yeb, great spirit of the balance, who refreshes our world and spirits, whose strength is in the ebb tide that carried us away from the Old Home, whose mercy is in suffering ended, and whose wrath is in famine and drought. Praise to Yeb, who brings us what we need! Praise to Yeb, who guides us home, when we are harvested! |
