Wolves are hostile animals in Weird West, and can often found in a pack of three or more. They have slightly higher health and damage than Coyotes but can still be easily dealt with. Wolves can be found in Howls in the Brush Random Encounter, around Dagger & Bones camps, or in Hunting Ground if the protagonist camps in forest areas.
It's unclear whether dogs exist in the world of Weird West, but tamed wolves fill the same role. Jane Bell has a tamed wolf (named Ava), as do other people in the West, especially the Absolutionists and the Lost Fire Nation natives.

Wolves do not attack werewolves, although they are still hostile toward werewolves in human form. Wolves are also a part of a ritual that turns a person into a werewolf. To become one, a person must hold a wolfsbane clipping, while standing close to a wolf as it is killed at night by a silver Melee Weapon.
Trivia[]
- Tamed wolves are sometimes used in dog fighting.
- Wolves have a very rare chance of dropping Wolf Eye, a special variant of the Glass Eye junk item. This is a reference to WolfEye Studios.
