Wiindigo or Spirit of Greed is a type of mysterious creature that can infect the minds of people, turning them into Ravenous. If left unchecked, their influences can spread far and wide.[1] It is said that Wiindigos have hearts as "colder than the North Wind" and a "hunger that never ends". Wherever they go, the land is shrouded in a perpetual winter.
No one knows more about Wiindigo than the Lost Fire Nation, who came West to hunt one of them. Wiindigos are weak against lightning damage, but can only be permanently killed by cutting off and burning the heads.[1] A Ravenous that is left alive for too long, will eventually give in to greed and become a new Wiindigo, thus the Spirit of Greed never dies as long as the greed of men still exists.
Combat Tips[]
- Wiindigo can throw energy projectiles from afar.
- It can also summon tornadoes similar to the Protectors' Western Wind ability.
- Throwing a few cluster dynamites can almost kill it instantly. When this happens, the usual conversation is triggered, and then Across Rivers can kill it.
