Under New Management is a missable side quest in Weird West.
Walkthrough[]
In order to start this quest, Cl'erns Qui'g first needs ring the door bell at the front entrance of Quigley's Lantern Room. A guard will ask for a passcode, but even if Cl'erns says the correct phrase given to him by Pigman Joe, he will be denied entry. After this, a prostitute named Gloria Reed asks Cl'erns to meet her at the back entrance. Go to the back of the brothel and Gloria will ask Cl'erns to knock out Maximo De Cueva and then throw him off of a balcony, without alerting or harming any of the guards.
Maximo De Cueva's office is in the South East corner of brothel, on the second floor. The easiest way to gain access to the second floor is to to use a barrel to climb on top of the pigsty or the back entrance's awning, and then climb onto the balconies. From there, jump on a balcony railing to reach the rooftop. Having the High Jump Perk makes this easier. Go to the South East corner of the building, which has two balconies, one of them is occupied by a guest. Quick save, then jump onto him to knock him out, then jump onto the other balcony, enter the room, make some noise to attract Maximo De Cueva, who is in the next room. Quickly go back to the balcony, wait for him to check the room and walk back to his office, then quickly sneak inside and knock him out. Drink a Sixth Sense Elixir if needed, to make it easier to see the locations of the target and guards through walls. Once Maximo De Cueva is unconscious, throw him out of the balcony, and leave the brothel without being seen.
Outcomes[]
- If Cl'erns completed the quest, Gloria will send a relay, thanking him. She and the girls would leave the brothel and try to start new lives.
- If Cl'erns failed the quest, Gloria will send a diffrelay, condemning him. The girls would attempt to escape by themselves but their fates are unknown.
