The Dying Stillwater

The Dying Stillwater is a side quest in Weird West. Dean Stillwater was fatally shot by Alonso Bell, and left by his gang in the tunnels of Greenwood Run, to be later eaten by a Siren.

Walkthrough[]

Dean is found in the basement of the large building in Greenwood Run which can be accessed either through:
- The well, which requires a rope to climb down.
- The trap door in the main building, which requires a key taken from the camp leader, Caroline Stillwater.
Once talking to Dean, Jane can ask about her husband, and then is given the choice of saving him or leave him to die. If she chooses the former, she needs to give him a bandage.
- If Jane agrees to help him but doesn't have any bandage, she has one day to find one otherwise the quest will fail.
After giving Dean a bandage, Dean will become a Friend for Life, and reveal the location of a Secret Stash, which is random. Note down the name mentioned by him, since that will be the grave that needs to be dig up.
Travel to Secret Stash which is now marked on the map. There, Jane has to deal with two grave robbers and two Coyotes.
The map is full of graves, many of them already dug up. Find the grave of the person mentioned by Dean and Jane can find some valuables. Most of the other graves contain bones, skulls, and other Junk items, but it's possible to find items such as Golden Aces of Spades or Nimp Relics so make sure to bring a couple of shovels.
