Weird West Wiki

Sirens are terrifying and cunning creatures that feed on human flesh in Weird West. They have pale or grey skin, tall and slender bodies, their legs have two knee joints - one of which bending backward, and they can slither on the ground like snakes. Their mouths open vertically with rows of sharp teeth inside and a pair of mandibles extending from the lower jaws. Their claws are said to be as sharp as knives. Sirens also possess a scream that can disorient their prey.[1]

Sirens are solo hunters but occasionally work under a powerful leader.[2] They also have the ability to disguise themselves as human. Once assimilated into a human community, they can be detected by the smell of rotten meat in a residence or unexplained disappearances.[2] However, there are some sirens who don't like the idea of killing and eating humans and try their best to blend in with human communities. This group tries to find different ways to sustain themselves such as only eating people who they deem to be bad.

At one point, Shelby Cross led a group of Sirens, took control of the Stillwaters Gang, and use the outlaws to kidnap humans for them to feast on.

Quotes[]

Idle[]

  • "we're gonna eat well tonight."
  • "Look at the meat on this one!"
  • "Spirits, I'm hungry."

Combat[]

  • "It's so cute when the livestock get ideas."
  • "Clean up your meals, spirit-bait!"
  • "This one's got teeth! Heh."
  • "There's no thrill like huntin' live prey."

Trivia[]

  • Sirens keep Cave Terrors as pets and guard dogs.[3]
  • While it's clear that sirens eat humans, it seems they eat all manners of other creatures as well. Half-eaten corpses of werewolves, ridgebacks, pigmen, and even cave terrors can be found in siren lairs.
  • Despite being a completely different species, Sirens are sometimes referred to as "cannibals" for eating humans. This is likely due to their ability to masquerade as people.
