Foods are items found throughout the world that can restore a certain amount of health when consumed. Foods might come in raw or cooked form, with only the latter can be consumed. Foods can only be cooked, and eaten immediately, when the protagonist's health is not full thus it's not possible to store cooked foods in inventory. For emergency healing, the protagonist needs to rely on bandages.
Notes[]
- Eating and drinking also heal Companions.
- Cl'erns Qui'g and Desidério Ríos have the ability to consume corpses to regain 25HP. This, however, does not heal companions.
- Animals burned and killed by fire drop cooked meat instead of raw ones. The achievement Lord Inut Sends His Regards requires roasting a chicken alive, using this method.
- Similarly, when there is no place to cook nearby, drop raw food on the ground and throw a wildfire cocktail or lit lantern at the pile of food to cook them.
- It's best to stock up on food that heals 20HP such as raw ribs and raw meat to avoid cluttering the inventory.
- There are also food and drink in the environment that can be consumed to heal:
- Cactus fruits can be eaten, and it's also possible to pierce a cactus and drink water from it.
- Rain and water pumps refill empty containers, providing an infinite source of healing.
- Cows can provide milk.
- Cutting down berry bushes produce strawberries.
