Fighting Pit

	Three great stones tower over the fighting pit, where folk come to try their luck betting on—or fighting in—duels to the death.

The Fighting Pit is a location in El Castillo desert where contestants fight to the death and spectators bet on their lives. It is owned by Pain, a mysterious figure who is obsessed with pain and inflicting pain.

According to Pain, the Pit was built atop one of the Soul Tree's Tap Roots for power. Surrounded the Pit are the Three Witnesses, large Gelsinnig monoliths that are said to trap the souls of the largest and most powerful spirits, enslaved by the Ancients. On the Three Witnesses themselves, there are murals depicting some kind of cosmic horrors, three-eyed monsters with tentacles that seemingly reached down to capture inhabitants of the planet. Others show the people being burned in the middle of the Pit.
