Sirens. Strange sonsofbitches. Keep pets. Found one of 'em—fella insisted I call him "Snack." Kept yammering about getting "nibbled on" by his "keeper." Gave me the shivers. Thing is, this Snack character knows the comings and goings of all the Stillwater prisoners. Poor fella was deep in Big Gulch Mine, the one just east of Quickbend. Don't envy him none. Not one bit. |
