Bears are hostile animals in Weird West. They can be skinned for bear pelts or superior bear pelts which are use to craft or upgrade bearskin vests. They can usually be found in Hunting Grounds (mountain area), in caves, around Dagger & Bones camps, and also appear in Bear Sighting Random Encounter.
Combat Tips[]
- Bears deal high damage and are very fast, capable of chasing down the protagonists with ease. Finding a high place to climb onto would effectively make them useless as they cannot climb and have no ranged attack.
- Bears can use Bloodthirsty ability to further increase the damage output. Their attacks also have a chance to cause bleeding, which make Bloodthirsty even more dangerous.
- They are also very resilient, using shotguns at point-blank range or even dynamites still take some time to take down a bear. Electrocuting them with Lightning in a Bottle or Lightning Rounds ability slows them down and make them easy targets.
Trivia[]
- Across Rivers and other Lost Fire Nation protectors can summon spirit bears to aid them. The spirit bears can also use Bloodthirsty ability like their corporeal counterparts.
