Alonso Bell is a minor character, husband of Jane Bell, and father to Huck Bell. He also teaches children in Grackle,[1] including Flora Albright's daughter, Chloe.[2]
Weird West[]
When the Stillwaters attack Bell Stead, Alonso courageously defends his son and the farm. He manages to mortally wounds a Stillwater before being overpowered and taken away. Alonso is then taken to Quickbend together with other captives, and eventually to Copper Mountain Quarry, where Shelby Cross keeps the "good meat". He remains imprisoned there until Jane arrives and rescues him.
If Alonso survives Copper Mountain Quarry, he comes back with Jane to Bell Stead and mourn Huck. If Jane kills Alonso, he's buried in Bell Stead next to his son. The Mysterious Girl also visits and expresses surprise at Jane's action.
During the Oneirist Journey, when Constance Driftwood visits Bell Stead, Alonso and Jane can be heard arguing about how Jane is not the same and how she can't let go of the past. Jane, on the other hand, still has nightmares and memories she shouldn't have, and she wants to get to the bottom of what happened.

- When Alonso is rescued, depending on whether Jane has her wedding band or not, he will respond differently:
- If Jane doesn't have the band: "You pawn your wedding band for that gun? Pragmatic, I guess, given the situation."
- If Jane has the band: "A wedding band and a gun--thought we'd never have to see the day you were a married woman and a Bounty Hunter both."
- If killed, a similar wedding band can be looted from Alonso's body.
- Additionally, if Jane rescues Alonso while in Werewolf form, Alonso will say: "Oh, oh goodness, sweetheart? That you under all that fur? Thank goodness you came. But when I said wanted something a little bit more... frisky in the bedroom, I didn't mean... Nevermind."
- After later protagonists recruiting Jane into their posses, Alonso can be heard saying "Takin' my Jane with you, huh? Well, y'all leave me out of all that brand nonsense. I got a kid to mourn, hear?
- For some strange reason, Alonso's photo can be found in Canker, on a picture board in Ruth Bough's lab.
